Christine Sasso of Amazing Grace Creations
My name is Christine Sasso and I have created Amazing Grace Creations out of my love for unique jewelry. I started my business in 2003 and named it after my daughter Grace. I am a stay at home Mom and I love to spend time with my children. My son was born in April, 2001 and my daughter was born in August, 2003. With one in school full time and one in school part time I am able to find a little more time for my creative desires, which is wonderful. I live in Surprise (yes!), Arizona, but I was born and raised in Southern California and lived there until my husband and I moved to Arizona 1999. I had worked in the computer industry for many years and studied Psychology at Cal State Los Angeles. I have had several years of jewelry making, silver work and stone setting classes in high school and college. Jewelry making was a career that I had always wanted to follow, but I didn’t feel I could support myself doing it alone.
I now create Collage Art Pendants using any an all artwork and paper that I can get my hands on. I love to peruse through crafting stores for paper and embellishments to use. Each one I make is completely one of a kind. These are my special babies, and I truly love to do them. They become my meditation when I am working on them. They are made from glass, silver solder (lead free) and any artwork or special paper that catches my interest. Each one includes individual beadwork and an assortment flat back Swarovski crystals. I make the pendants in three sizes, 1”x1”, 1”x2” and 1”x3”. I have also started working with pewter jewelry trays and resin. This allows me another avenue of creating artwork as well. Each of my pendants is unique and I make them in several different themes. Some of the themes I include are Asian, Geisha, Butterflies, Think Pink! Breast Cancer Courage pendants, Inspirational, Surfer Girl and many, many more. When I find some special artwork, I am inspired and a new theme is born. I also customize pendants with pictures of children and other favorite family members for customers.
I believe in great customer service and selling jewelry to customers which they will love and cherish for years to come. It is so gratifying to give someone a pendant that is unique and they won’t find anywhere else. My goal in life is to always treat others as I wish to be treated in business and in life.
My jewelry making has been a truly rewarding experience in my life and I am blessed to have the opportunity to follow my passion. When I was younger I always felt that by age 35 I would feel old, but now I really believe with my children, my husband and my accomplishments that the best part of my life has just begun. I encourage everyone to follow their dreams of being creative and doing what one enjoys the most in life. Ruby Lane has been a wonderful site and I have thoroughly enjoyed the ability to list my pieces in my store and reach a fantastic market of other jewelry makers and artisans.
Thank you for your interest in my jewelry and God bless. |
